The strong, solid design fits into the motor guide’s keyway to couple the steering when in use,  (simply loosen the clamp slide it into position and clamp it up)  set the adjustable height and secure it along any part of the motors shaft.  (Check your shaft size before purchase)  The base of the adjustable leg includes a soft anti-slip foot design that ensures that it doesn’t leave marks along your boat.  The unique captive thread design ensures that parts can not fall overboard.  Easily remove and replace it with a large adjustable thumbscrew, no tools required.
